VAST Networks has announced the rollout of affordable Wi-Fi vouchers across a range of South African retailers and entrepreneurial vendors in Gauteng.
For R50, users will be able to purchase a 1.5GB package to use at any of the 2,500 VAST locations countrywide.
The vouchers will soon also be available at Engen petrol stations, while the purchase of a 1voucher at PEP stores can be redeemed for a VAST Wi-Fi bundle.
“Given the immense growth potential of the sector from a socio-economic perspective, our vouchers provide flexibility to consumers who are not looking to be tied down by contracts,” explained Grant Marais, CEO at VAST Networks.
He added that their goal was to bring affordable, high-speed connectivity to people across various socio-economic classes.
VAST Wi-Fi vouchers can be activated by: Topping up the consumer’s account from the VAST Wi-Fi app. Selecting the Vouchers button on the landing page at any VAST venue and entering the voucher number.
Purchasing a 1voucher at PEP stores which can be redeemed for a VAST Wi-Fi bundle.
